מבוא:

ניתן לחפש קרובי משפחה דרך האינטרנט. ליטא מכבדת את חוק הפרטיות של 100 שנה, לכן מידע לא ישוחרר עד 100 שנה לאחר מותו של בן אדם. היוצאים מן הכלל הם: נספי השואה (אם ידוע בוודאות קרובי משפחה מדרגה ראשונה בלבד) וצרכי רפואה.

טיפ לחיפושים: תעתיק שמות משפות שונות משתנה ממקום למקום ומהאנשים שרושמים את השמות. לכן אין לחפש שם מדוייק – תנסו להשתמש בפרמטרים של sounds like.
